Workshops

Writers Ink will be hosting free creative writing workshops throughout the year for grades 4-6. These classes will focus primarily on the literary arts, from poetry to screenplay, as well as students' growth and self-expression. Students are encouraged to share their voices and offer constructive criticism to their peers to uplift a community of writers. We ask that all students who sign up have basic computer skills and literacy equivalent to fourth grade or higher.

In this free workshop, students will learn the fundamentals of poetry, short story, and screenplay, as well as begin to establish a unique writing voice, and explore the limitless boundaries of imagination.
