About Us

Milla Jans is a senior at Yorba Linda High School and is part of the editorial staff of The Wrangler and editor-in-chief of Through Our Eyes, a global online literary arts magazine. She is a California Arts Scholar and recipient of the Governor's Medallion for her completion of the California State Summer School for the Arts (CSSSA) writing program. She continued her study of poetry through the Iowa Young Writers' Studio and recently published a book of poetry, Ellipses. Milla began writing poetry in fourth grade and fell in love with the art; she now hopes to inspire more young writers to develop a passion for writing and express themselves creatively. When not writing, Milla can often be found at cafes and museums doodling, people-watching, and sipping a matcha latte.

Kate Chang is a freshman at the Orange County School of the Arts and is in the Creative Writing Conservatory. She was born and raised in Southern California and resides with her parents and older sister. When she isn't at school or immersed in a book, she enjoys traveling, bedazzling, and playing tennis. Through Writer's Ink, she hopes to inspire and teach the younger generation about various forms of writing.

As the Outreach Coordinator for Writers Ink, Emeline helps manage our website and social media, designs outreach flyers, and connects with community sponsors. She loves writing short stories and reading tales inspired by Greek mythology. When she’s not writing, she enjoys baking, making dance videos with friends, and transforming discarded or found objects into creative works of art.
